Frequency Calculator is a sequence frequency table generator. It creates sequence frequency tables that are used by the Oligo software in the Eliminate Frequent Oligonucleotides sub-search. Primers with low frequency numbers at the 3’-ends are preferred, and Oligo selects them based on those tables. The frequency tables are stored in the ../Oligo 7/Frequencies folder. Examples of the files that already exist in this folder are GBPRI.FR6, GBPRI.FR7, GBBCTBAC.FR6. This application allows you to generate your own FR6, FR7 and FR8 files based on sequence files located on your local computer.
